E.ON Climate & Renewables (EC&R) has dedicated two solar photovoltaic projects near Tucson, Ariz., with a combined capacity of 15 MW. Both projects have long-term power purchase agreements with Tucson Electric Power (TEP).

The first of the two projects, the 5 MW Tech Park Solar (TPS), was developed in collaboration with the University of Arizona Science and Technology Park and TEP. The project started generating power in December 2012. The second project, the 10 MW Valencia Solar, came online in June 2013.
