Bismarck, N.D.-based Montana-Dakota Utilities Co. (MDU) has executed a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with Wind Works Power Corp. for approximately 105 MW of installed capacity of wind turbine generators.

According to Wind Works, the Thunder Spirit Project, located in Hettinger, N.D., will deliver energy to MDU's 230 kV Hettinger Substation.

Wind Works says the project is scheduled to reach commercial operation in the fourth quarter of 2015.
