Philadelphia-based software solutions provider Customized Energy Solutions (CES) has joined the OpenADR Alliance as a contributor member.

The OpenADR Alliance is a nonprofit corporation created to foster the development, adoption and compliance of the open automated demand response smart grid standard.

CES says this partnership will enable the company to provide automated demand response signals and will provide clients OpenADR-ready equipment to develop load management strategies to help reduce customers' costs.
