Raleigh, N.C.-based Elster Solutions has released version 9.0 of its EnergyAxis advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) solution.

With this release, Elster says it is introducing architectural enhancements that help to advance the flexibility, speed and security of remote configuration and upgrade of devices and firmware.

In addition, the company reports that EnergyAxis version 9.0 offers enhancements in operator efficiency and application usability, more task-oriented menu structures, context sensitivity, and configuration frameworks.
