Spain-based independent power producer Grupo T-Solar has completed a 25 MW photovoltaic solar plant in El Centro, Calif. The North American Development Bank (NADB) provided a $65 million loan for the construction of the project.

According to NADB, the plant occupies 140 acres of land and will generate 55 GWh per year. NADB adds that the sale of energy is regulated by a 30-year power purchase agreement with utility Imperial Irrigation District.
