Ventyx, an ABB company, has appointed Jeff Ray CEO. He will report directly to Jens Birgersson, head of ABB's network management business unit.

Ray joins Ventyx from Dassault Systemes, where he served as executive vice president of geographic operations and was a member of the firm's executive committee. Prior to that, he served as CEO of SolidWorks, a global engineering software firm and division of Dassault Systemes.

Ray began his career at IBM, where he held various sales and management positions for more than 17 years.
