Southern California Edison (SCE) has selected Space-Time Insight's situational intelligence solution for the Irvine smart grid demonstration project.

The solution is intended to enable project stakeholders to quickly visualize, assess and plan to implement a diverse array of components, including smart meters, advanced distribution equipment, renewable energy, security networks, energy-efficient home appliances and electric vehicles.

Funded, in part, by the American Recovery and Investment Act of 2009, the project is designed to test and validate advanced smart grid technologies within a controlled environment.
