Ambient Corp., a provider of smart grid communications and applications platform, says it has created a European subsidiary, Ambient Corp. (Europe) Ltd., to better support regional utilities and distribution network operators.

"It is a great time for us to be setting up dedicated regional operations that will enable us to work more closely with our partners and customers, both existing and potential, providing local, expedient support and service," says Donald Pollock, Ambient's global vice president of sales and marketing.
