Qualcomm Technologies Inc. (QTI) has announced that its networking and connectivity subsidiary, Qualcomm Atheros Inc., unveiled a new, industrial-grade HomePlug Green PHY device: the QCA7000-AL3B.

According to QTI, the QCA7000-AL3B is a low-power, fully integrated single chip solution delivered with advanced software and hardware support packages. The solution brings industrial temperature support to the product line, serving outdoor applications, such as electric vehicle service equipment, electric meters and solar panels, the company adds.

The QCA7000-AL3B is available now in production volumes.
