Herndon, Va.-based Apex CoVantage has announced the completion of Tennessee-based Cleveland Utilities' smart meter installation project. The project utilized Apex's ProField technology for managing the replacement of electric meters throughout the utility's service territory.

According to Apex, the ProField system covers asset management, training and certification, remote management of field operations, fault-resistant workflows, and real-time reporting for smart grid deployments.
