The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) has started the new year with a new president and CEO and four new TVA board nominees.

Bill Johnson succeeds Tom Kilgore, who served as TVA's first president and CEO since 2006. Johnson's debut coincides with the U.S. Senate confirmation of four new TVA board nominees, and the nominations now move on for presidential signature so that the new members can be officially sworn into office, TVA explains.
