Milsoft Utility Solutions Inc. has announced that Kingstree, S.C.-based Santee Electric Cooperative Inc., which serves over 40,000 consumer accounts, has chosen Milsoft's geographic information system (GIS) and outage management system (OMS). The cooperative currently uses Milsoft's engineering analysis and IVR communications solutions.

"Milsoft's OMS and GIS, including the operations data management and project management capabilities of the E&O System, will enable us to better manage the data that we need for system planning and operations as well as improve our response to service outages to better serve our customers,” comments Christie Dyson, the cooperative’s mapping project engineer.
