Efacec ACS has been selected to deliver smart grid technology to one of the largest electric distribution companies in El Salvador, the Distribuidora de Electricidad del Sur SA de CV (DELSUR).

According to Efacec, the delivery will include a new outage management system and distribution management system, along with enhanced security features and application redundancy. The project includes an upgrade to the existing Efacec ACS PRISM SCADA system and integration with the utility's geospatial information system and other corporate systems.
